An Update
We are now meeting twice weekly on Wednesdays and Sundays. Both meetings are currently in houses until we find a suitable, permanent Sunday venue. Skully and Julian are now working together to plant the new church and the core team are now undergoing membership classes as we move towards forming a new church.
In 2013 Brighton’s Montpellier Place Baptist Church sadly closed and the site was later sold. It represented a community of Christians who had been gathering in the city since 1834. But we don’t believe this is the end of the story. God gives new life. So we’re sowing seeds for a new church in central Brighton in 2021.
